The

Venue
The Adams
Park Conference Centre is the home of Wycombe Wanderers Football
Club. It offers modern conference and exhibition facilities with
easy access for unloading and ample free car parking. The exhibition
will be located in the Conference Suite where Registration and all
catering is being provided.

The theme
for 2007 will concentrate on Creativity to support learning and
development. Speakers will focus on how teachers can use Drama,
Art, Music and all aspects of the Performing Arts to help pupils
with Reading and Writing and for promote pupils self confidence.
Speakers include:-
Simon Wrigley Buckinghamshire English & Literacy
Advisor - Simon is Chair of the National Association for the Teaching
of English (NATE), for whom he has run workshops since 1997, and
served on Primary, Drama and Management committees. Simon taught
for seventeen years in four secondary schools, and has been an English
and Drama adviser for twelve years.
Christine Wilkinson is a visual artist who works
with many local and regional schools, local authorities, arts groups,
voluntary organizations and community groups. Christine has worked
with the Arts Development team as a consultant for a number of years
and has been instrumental in developing a number of major schemes
and projects including developing the Community Arts Training in
Slough, which she co delivers. Christine has also worked with the
team on several publications including Art and People and Slough
Inspired and has been involved in co-developing the Artistic Development
Training.
Caroline Muraldo is the artistic director of the
Christian dance company Muraldo D.C formed in 1999. The company
performs traditional dances from both Africa and the Caribbean.
Caroline along with members of her company currently teaches in
a variety of educational establishments working with ages ranging
from nursery school to elders both nationally and internationally.
This includes her post as visiting lecturer at Surrey University
were she has been teaching since 1999 on the first Dance and Culture
degree for which she has developed the first three year degree module.
