“Pulling the threads together” is the Language World 2008 theme for this two-day programme of talks, workshops and plenary sessions from leading experts and practitioners.

Up to 500 delegates attend the Language World Conference which is the UK’s major languages event covering all levels of education from Early Years, to FE and Vocational. The Conference includes all language from those traditionally covered in schools to the more specialist community and minority languages.

The Exhibition
The exhibition is an important and integral part of the event offering practical guidance and advice to delegates with a range of ideas, lessons and opportunities. Exhibitors will have access to teachers, academics, translators, student including Advisers, Lecturers, Heads of Department and types of language professionals.

Companies, Exam Boards, Government departments who offer advice and support to Language teachers or supply products and services, should see their attendance as vital.

The Venue
After the success in 2007 the Conference will be returning to the Examination Schools which proved a very popular and successful venue in the past with delegates.

New exhibition layout for 2008.
We are delighted to inform previous exhibitors we are able to house the exhibition in two adjoining schools. All delegates’ teas, coffee will be served in the exhibition area throughout.

Booking
This is an “Open Space” exhibition with corporate members and early discount rates offered
.
ALL Corporate Members can book stands from Monday 10 September 2007. Open Bookings will be accepted from Monday 24 September 2007.

Exhibitors booking and paying in full before 4th January 2008 will be allowed the early discount rate. Any exhibitor who has not paid before that date will receive a supplementary invoice.
