ASPECT –
the Association of Professionals in Education and Children’s
Trusts, formerly the National Association of Educational Inspectors,
Advisers and Consultants (NAEIAC).
The Association
now represents over 4,000 professionals in the field including advisory
head teachers, directors and managers of children’s services,
school improvement and early years advisers, education welfare officers,
14-19 coordinators, heads of Sure Start, OfSTED Inspectors, parent
partnership staff and self-employed consultants – the key
advisers and managers in Education.
ASPECT members
are based throughout the UK and work across a broad range of sectors
serving the interests of all children and young people, including
the public, private, faith, voluntary and community sectors.
ASPECT’s
Annual Conference attracts up to 150 delegates. The 2008 Conference
will focus on “Building Brighter Futures” for children
and young people. A number of national speakers from education,
health and social care will be giving keynote presentations. The
conference, a prominent and influential event, provides professionals
from a range of background with the opportunity to discuss the benefits
and challenges of the Children’s Plan and the means of building
brighter futures. Seminars will cover early years to secondary and
include looked after children, in addition to a review of the new
curriculum and examination regimes. Exhibitor led session opportunities
will also be available as part of the conference.

are invited to the pre-dinner Wine Reception held in the exhibition
area on the Friday evening – an ideal time to meet the delegates
in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
